SAN FRANCISCO - Cole Hamels pitched a seven-hitter, and Hunter Pence singled in Jimmy Rollins in the first inning as the Philadelphia Phillies won their ninth straight game, beating the San Francisco Giants 2-1 on Saturday.
The game had none of the fireworks from Friday, when the teams brawled at one point after Shane Victorino was hit by a pitch.
Hamels gave up just seven hits and struck out five, surrendering Pablo Sandoval's solo homer in the bottom of the ninth.
